We have licensed Mimecast's "Large File Send" feature for sending large file attachments.

Within your Outlook client, you will see the Mimecast plugin as one of the tabs up at the top.

Clicking on it will display the options available to you. One of the sections is labeled "Large File Send."

Selecting "attach large files" will open up a windows explorer dialog box and will allow you to select the file.

Once you select one or multiple files, a new message will be created that saves the attachments with an "M" icon and a small script stating it will be sent through the service.

Upon hitting send, the message will give the following options:

Expiration date of 3, 7 or custom date range

Notification of when the files are accessed by the recipient(s)

A link to download the files from Mimecast

Availability to invite recipient to send large files back through Mimecast

Secure the access to the files through a key

Once it completes, the recipient will receive the following message from your e-mail address.

The recipient will need to click on the attachment that has the option to download or upload files

If you secured the file with an access key, Mimecast will force the recipient to click on the "get access key button" and send it to them in another e-mail.

The body of the e-mail should contain the access key.

Once they have the access key, the recipient can enter it and access the files to download it or upload files. (should you select the option)

Once they are logged in with the access key, they will see that dashboard to download the files.
